How did Google win the search engine war? It is plain simplicity! At the time when all the other search engines and directories were cluttering up their portal, Google took a different route of providing a clean cut look for the user to do one task- to search.I have been a Google user (introduced by a friend) when the Internet community were “Wowed” by the Yahoo, Alta Vista, Excite and the likes. Back then i just wanted to search, that’s the reason why i chose Google. I wanted accurate and relevant search results instead of ploughing through links of results which were irrelevant.

 Little did i expect that from a simple service, Google has grown to becoming one of the most successful company in the world!
